This large-scale project is made possible by the significant support and financial commitment of the Occitania / Pyrénées-Méditerranée Region and Europe. For an initial period of three years, the Occitania Region mobilized a budget of €6.5 million in addition to the €6.3 million of the European ERDF Fund. These two principal sources of funding enabled the creation of the INSPIRE platform, bringing together clinical, epidemiological, social, biological and digital resources for research and development. In total, almost 57 million euros will be mobilized by the Region over 10 years as part of the INSPIRE project.

Apart from this regional funding, those of the CHU, the Toulouse III – Paul Sabatier University and the major research institutions (Inserm and CNRS) which fund the infrastructure, equipment and salaries of the permanent staff involved, the platform received private co-funding for the creation of scientific chairs (Pfizer France, Pierre-Fabre Dermo-Cosmétique, Korian, Edenis and the APOC CTAD Foundation)
